Mother Nature Forces Change In Kickoff Time For Chiefs vs Steelers

The NFL was forced to move the kickoff time on Sunday for the Kansas City Chiefs vs Pittsburgh Steelers AFC Divisional playoff game due to an ice storm.

Originally scheduled for a 12:05 kickoff, the game will now kickoff Sunday night at 7:20. It will still be televised on NBC.

The NFL released the following statement earlier today regarding the time change:

"Moving the game from the original 1:05 p.m. ET start time will provide local authorities more time to clear roads in the area as the weather is expected to improve throughout Sunday.

"The decision to make this time change was made in consultation with state and local officials as well as the Chiefs and the Steelers.''
