The Minnesota Twins are expected to name Hall of Famer Paul Molitor as their next manager, according to multiple reports.

Molitor, who has been a member of the Twins' coaching staff since 2013, would replace Ron Gardenhire, who manged the organization for the last 13 seasons.

The 58-year Molitor played 21 seasons in Major League Baseball (1978-1998), including three for the Twins (1996-1998).

Molitor, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2004, was a seven-time All-Star, who accumulated 3,319 career hits and 504 stolen bases.
