The St. Louis Cardinals signed right-handed pitcher Mike Leake to a 5-year contract on Tuesday, worth an estimated $80 million, plus incentives.

The 28-year old Leake compiled an overall record of 11-10 with a 3.70 ERA. last season, while splitting time between the Cincinnati Reds and the San Francisco Giants.

Pitching all but 9 games of his 6-year MLB career with the Reds, Leake has accumulated a lifetime record of 64-52 with a 3.88 ERA.
