Michelle Wie Takes Lead

PINEHURST, N.C. (AP) — Michelle Wie birdied the last two holes for a 2-under 68 to take the second round lead at the U.S. Women's Open. Wie has put together a two-round total of 4-under 136.

Lexi Thompson is one shot back after matching Wie's 2-under 68. Minjee Lee, Amy Yang and Stacy Lewis are four shots back.

Eleven-year-old Luci Li failed to make the cut after carding her second straight 8-over 78.
