Although the metal detectors have been shuffled around Tiger Stadium for every home game this season, they will be in place at the student gate for the upcoming game against the Alabama Crimson Tide on November 3. The SEC has required full stadium coverage by 2020, but LSU plans to have that done early, and in place by next year. At the last home game against Mississippi State, the metal detectors were installed at gates 1-3.

According to the The Daily Reveille, this will be the first time the metal detectors will be used at the student entrance, and they are suggesting football fans who plan to enter through that gate arrive 30-45 minutes early.

LSU Tigers and the Crimson Tide will play at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3.
