The LSU Tigers will be adding a talented quarterback to their roster in the near future.

Oconee County High School in Watkinsville, Georgia gave a verbal pledge on Wednesday to be a part of LSU's 2020 signing class.

The son of former NFL quarterback Brad Johnson, Johnson is rated as a 4-star prospect, and as the #68 player in the country by 247Sports, which also has him ranked as the #5 pro-style quarterback in his class.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Johnson threw for 925 yards and nine touchdowns as a junior this past season, one season after passing for 1,918 yards and 10 touchdowns as a sophomore in 2017.
