Mavs Win Over Heat Didn’t Save Basketball
Millions of basketball fans weren’t necessarily pulling for the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals. They were just pulling against the Miami Heat.
Team owner Mark Cuban of the Dallas Mavericks celebrates with the Larry O’Brien trophy after the Mavericks won 105-95 against the Miami Heat in Game Six of the 2011 NBA Finals at American Airlines Arena on June 12, 2011 in Miami, Florida.
Mitch Lawrence, of foxsports.com, says the victory by the Mavs didn’t save the game of basketball from doom.
