Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp is off to a scintillating start, hitting .425/.495/.888 with 11 home runs and 24 RBIs going into last night's ballgame. His performance in the month of April is comparable to some of the best ever by players in the past.

When compared to Barry Bonds, George Brett, Larry Walker, and several other greats, Kemp's April is comparable, and in some regards even better than their best.
