Man Qualifies For U.S. Open On 12th Try By Sinking 25-Foot Putt
This is video of 42-year-old Dennis Miller, of Youngstown, Ohio, nailing a 25-foot putt during Monday sectional qualifying, to punch his ticket to the 2012 U.S. Open.
This is pretty dramatic stuff, as Miller drops in the putt fromthe lip of the green.
As the putt looked to have a shot of going in when it left his putter, but then slowed up and stopped right on the edge of the cup.
Notice how Miller looked away in disgust.
Then suddenly, the ball fell in, and Miller, who doesn’t play professionally for a living, qualifies on his 12th try.
Keep believing people. Keep believing!
