Man Arrested After Being Accused of Punching Police Horse

The NBA fans are fannnnnnnnnntastic – unless animals are involved.

Over the NBA All-Star Weekend in downtown Orlando, police were called in after the game to disperse the crowd. The man in question along with his girlfriend weren’t walking on the sidewalk as fast as the cop on the horse wanted them to. Agitated, the man then allegedly hit the horse and caused the animal to lunge towards the couple.

It turns out the horse, named “Shamrock,” injured its front leg and county officials aren’t sure if it will be able to return to work. Can horses collect workman’s compensation?
