The Roberto Clemente Award is one of the most prestigious in all of baseball.

It honors the memory of the former Pittsburgh Pirates' slugger by honoring a current player who best exemplifies the benevolence and humanitarian characteristics Clemente was known for, along with his play on the field.

Milwaukee Brewers and former Ragin' Cajuns slugger Jonathan Lucroy has been nominated by his team for the award.

Lucroy has been involved in children's charities and military initiatives during his time in Milwaukee.
