LSU Upsets Marquette, 67-59
The LSU Tigers captured a big non-conference win on Monday night, upsetting the previously unbeaten and 10th-ranked Marquette Golden Eagles, 67-59, in Baton Rouge.
The Tigers sizzled from the field, connecting on 23-of-43 field goal attempts (54%), while out-rebounding the Golden Eagles, 32-30.
Ralston Turner pored in 22 points, for LSU, while Jae Crowder had 22 for Marquette.
With the win, LSU improves to 8-3, while Marquette dropped to 10-1.
