The LSU Tigers are the new number one team in the Collegiate Baseball Top 30 newspaper poll, which was released on Monday.

LSU, who is coming off of an impressive three-game, weekend, SEC sweep of Kentucky Wildcats, a series in which the Tigers outscored the Wildcats, 31-6, jumped up one spot, from number two last week, to the top spot in this week's poll.

The Tigers, who are currently 30-2 overall, and 11-1 in SEC play, is number two in the USA Today Coaches poll, and third in the Baseball America poll.

North Carolina drop one spot, to number two this week, while Vanderbilt, Virginia, and Cal State-Fullerton round out the top five.

At 6-10, it's Oregon St., Florida St., Oklahoma, Oregon, and Arkansas.

11-15 consists of Louisville, South Carolina, Indiana, Kentucky, UCLA, with Notre Dame, Clemson, Georgia Tech, North Carolina St., and Cal Poly in the 16-20 slots.

Rice, Alabama, Stanford, Texas A&M, and Arizona are ranked 21-25 this week, with Mississippi St., Arizona St., Houston, Florida Gulf Coast, and Creighton rounding out the top 30.
