LSU defensive end Lewis Neal (pictured) and right tackle Vadal Alexander were honored by the SEC today after their standout performances in Saturday night's win over Florida.

Neal was all over the field for the Tiger defense, finishing the game with 10 tackles and 3 sacks. The junior from Wilson, North Carolina was named SEC defensive player of the week today.

Alexander, a senior from New Orleans, led an LSU offensive line that paved away for 221 rushing yards against a vaunted Gator defense. Alexander was credited with 13 knockdowns and did not allow a sack. As a result, he was named the SEC offensive lineman of the week.

Alexander received the same honor in week 2 after LSU's win over Mississippi State.

LSU (6-0) will host Western Kentucky (6-1) in a non-conference matchup Saturday night at Tiger Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6:00.
