The Tigers, under first-year head coach Beth Torina, scored all three of their runs in the third inning to win the rubber game, 3-1, and qualifying for the WCWS for the third time in program history.

Joining LSU are California, Alabama, Arizona St., Oklahoma, Tennessee, Oregon, and South Florida.

The WCWS gets underway on Thursday, at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
