The LSU Football program has lost two quarterbacks in the matter of two days as Lowell Narcisse has opted to transfer from LSU. He was the first of two quarterbacks to announce that they were transferring, the other was Justin McMillan.

The former four-star recruit and red-shirt freshman was thought to have a shot at the starting quarterback position this season but once the team added Ohio State transfer Joe Burrow he saw things getting pretty crowded.

Narcisse joined ESPN's 104.5 show, "Off the Bench" with Jordy Culotta and T-Bob Hebert Wednesday morning to give some additional insight into his decision.

“Last night was a real emotional night for me. LSU has always been my dream school. The position that I am in, being able to leave my dream school to do what was best for me, it was a real emotional night. I just had to do what’s best for me and my future as far as showcasing my abilities. I just feel like I had to do it. It was the best thing for me to get a new start.”

In terms of where he's going to go from here he said, “I do plan to go to a JUCO and graduate in December and reopen my recruitment and see where else I can take my talents. That is the plan.”

Here's the letter that Narcisse posted up on his Twitter account thanking Tiger Nation:
