After two straight wins, LSU has moved into both the USA Today/Amway Coaches' Poll and the AP Poll.

The Tigers (4-2) are #23 in the coaches' poll, up from #25 last week, and re-enter the AP Poll at #25.

The two polls agree on the ten teams at the top.  The differences are the coaches have Clemson #3 and Michigan #4, while the AP poll has the teams reversed.  And, The AP has Nebraska #8 and Baylor #9, while those positions are reversed in the coaches' poll. Alabama is #1, Ohio State #2 and Washington is #5, with  #6 Texas A&M, #7 Louisville and #10 Wisconsin finishing out the top ten.  Once again, the Big 10 has four of the top ten teams.

Four teams from the "group of five" are in the poll:  Houston (11), Boise State (14), Western Michigan (20) and Navy (24/25).
