The 19th-ranked LSU Tigers return to action on Thursday evening, playing host to the South Alabama Jaguars in a non-conference tilt at the Maravich Center in Baton Rouge, La.

Tipoff time is set for 8 o’clock.

The game, which is the local round of the Legends Classic, will mark the third game of season-opening three-game homestand for the Tigers.

LSU, who defeated Kennesaw St., 91-69, on Monday night, is 2-0 on the young season, while South Alabama, who fell on the road to North Carolina St., 88-70, on Friday evening, will enter the match-up at 1-1.

The Tigers are outscoring the opposition, 86.0/69.5, and outshooting them from the floor, 48%/38%, while holding down a 41.5/39.5 rebound advantage.

LSU is led by freshman guard Antonio Blakeney, who averaging 18.0 points, to go along with 6.5 rebounds-per-game, and freshman forward Ben Simmons, who is averaging 16.5, and 11.0, respectively.

South Alabama is outscoring the opposition, 79.0/78.0, while being outshot, 44%/37%, and holding down a 46.5/43.5 rebound edge.

The Jaguars are paced by senior guard Ken Williams, who averaging 14.5 points, to go along with 4.5 rebounds a contest.

LSU leads the all-time series, 2-1.
