The LSU Tigers return to action on Wednesday evening, when coach Johnny Jones’ squad plays host to the Ole Miss Rebels in an SEC match-up.

LSU, who fell on the road to Florida, 68-62, last Saturday, is 9-6, overall, and 2-1 in SEC play, while Ole Miss, who defeated Georgia, 72-71, on Saturday, is currently 12-3, and 2-1, respectively.

The Tigers are outscoring the opposition, 82.8/75.4, and outshooting them from the floor, 47%/43%, while holding down a 40.2/38.1 rebound advantage.

LSU is led by freshman forward Ben Simmons, who is averaging 20.6 points, to go along with 13.1 rebounds-per-game, and senior guard Keith Hornsby, who is averaging 15.5, and 2.3, respectively.

Ole Miss is outscoring opponents, 75.4/70.1, while outshooting the opposition, 43%/41%, and holding down a 39.5/35.2 rebounding advantage.

The Rebels are paced by senior guard Stefan Moody, who is averaging 23.9 points, to go along with 3.1 rebounds contest.
