The LSU Tiger men's basketball team picked up an SEC road win on Thursday night, defeating the South Carolina Gamecocks, 64-46, in Columbia, South Carolina.

LSU led at the half, 26-24, and then outscored South Carolina, 38-22, in the second half, to leave with the 18-point victory.

The Tigers out-shot the Gamecocks from the field, 44%-28%, and also finished with a 43-29 rebound advantage.

Johnny O'Bryant III led the way for LSU, scoring a game-high 30 points, while Lakeem Jackson paced South Carolina in a losing cause, with 10 points.

The win by the Tigers avenge an 82-73, double-overtime loss, at the hands of South Carolina, back on January 16, in Baton Rouge.

LSU, who has now won four of their last five, and five of their last seven games, improved to 14-6 overall, and 5-6 in SEC play, while South Carolina fell to 12-12 overall, and 2-9 in league play.
