The LSU Tigers landed a commitment from the top-ranked high school football player in the nation on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-1, 195-pound Stingley originally committed to the Tigers prior to his sophomore season, but decided to reopen his recruitment ahead of his junior year.

Named the top prospect in the nation by Rivals, Stingley, who reportedly runs a 4.3 40-yard dash, while also sporting a 42-inch vertical jump, recorded 11 interceptions as a junior last season.
