The LSU Tigers return to action on Tuesday night, when coach Johnny Jones’ squad plays host to the Georgia Bulldogs in an SEC match-up.

Tipoff time at the Maravich Center is set for 8 o’clock.

LSU, who defeated Alabama, 72-70, on Saturday, is 12-7, overall, and 5-2 in SEC play, while Georgia, who beat Arkansas, 76-73, on Saturday, is currently 11-6, and 4-3, respectively.

The Tigers are outscoring the opposition, 80.9/75.1, and outshooting them from the floor, 47%/43%, while holding down a 39.5/37.6 rebound advantage.

LSU is led by freshman forward Ben Simmons, who is averaging 19.6 points, to go along with 12.6 rebounds-per-game, and senior guard Keith Hornsby, who is averaging 13.5, and 2.3, respectively.

Georgia is outscoring opponents, 69.9/66.9, and outshooting the opposition, 43%/38%, while being outrebounded, 35.8/35.3.

The Bulldogs are paced by sophomore forward Yante Maten, who is averaging 16.2 points, to go along with 7.9 rebounds a contest.
