After yesterday's loss to Auburn, LSU is out of the polls.

The Tigers (2-2) fell to Auburn Saturday evening when it was ruled their final play came after time expired.  LSU had scored a touchdown on the play.

In each poll, the top ten is the same, although the order is slightly different.  Both polls agree Alabama and Ohio State are 1-2.  The coaches have Clemson third, followed by Louisville and Michigan.  The AP says Louisville is third, followed by Michigan and Clemson.

The coaches have Stanford sixth and Houston seventh, while the AP has them reversed.  Both polls have Wisconsin #8 after their impressive road win at Michigan State.  The coaches have Washington ninth and Texas A&M, while the AP has the Aggies ninth and Huskies tenth.

The only difference in membership of the top 25 is North Carolina, entering the coaches poll at 23, while the AP favors Boise State at #24.
