LSU Defeats Missouri, 73-70

The LSU Tiger men's basketball team picked up a big SEC home win on Wednesday night, defeating the 17th-ranked Missouri Tigers, 73-70, at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge.
LSU led at the half, 39-26, and then hung on for the 3-point win, their tenth win in 12 home game this year.
LSU out-shot Missouri from the field, 56%-37%, and also finished with a 17-of-28 from the free throw line.
Anthony Hickey led LSU in scoring, with 20 points, while Phil Pressey paced Missouri in a losing cause with a game-high 25 points.
With the victory, LSU improved to 11-7 overall, and 2-5 in SEC play, while Missouri fell to 15-5 overall, and 4-3 in league play.
LSU returns to action on Saturday, when they hit the road to take on Mississippi St.
