LSU DB Dwayne Thomas Replaces Tre’Davious White At Senior Bowl
Even though he missed the majority of workouts, practices and interviews during Senior Bowl week, one LSU Tiger couldn't pass up a late invite to the game.
After All-American LSU cornerback Tre'Davious White pulled out of tomorrow's Senior Bowl due to a minor injury, his teammate Dwayne Thomas got the call to fill his vacant spot today, LSU announced.
In his senior season of 2016, Thomas finished with 42 tackles, including 7 tackles for loss, an interception, sack, 8 passes defended and 5 quarterback hurries.
The Senior Bowl will take place in Mobile tomorrow at 1:30. It'll be nationally televised on the NFL Network.
The game, which has been played since 1950, features some of college football's best seniors, pits a North and South team of college all-stars looking to showcase their skills to pro coaches and scouts.
