The LSU Tiger men's basketball team begins a short, two-game road trip, on Saturday, when coach Trent Johnson's squad travels to Gainesville, Florida, to take on the 14th-ranked Florida Gators, in SEC action.

The Tigers captured a 65-58 overtime victory on Tuesday night, to snap a two-game losing streak, and improve 12-6 overall, and 2-2 in SEC play.

The Gators were last in action last Saturday, when they defeated the South Carolina Gamecocks, 79-65, for their fourth win in their last five games, and improved them to 14-4 overall, and 2-1 in league play.

Junior center Justin Hamilton leads LSU, averaging 13.3 points, and 7.5 rebounds per game, while junior guard Kenny Boynton paces Florida, at 18.7 points a contest.
