The fourth-ranked LSU Tiger baseball team is on the road for conference action on Friday, as they travel to Oxford. Mississippi, to take on the Ole Miss Rebels, in the opening game of a three-game, weekend, SEC series.

The Tigers are currently 35-9 overall, and lead the SEC Western Division, with a 14-6 conference mark, while the Rebels stand at 28-15 overall, and 10-10 in league play, which puts them in a two-way tie with Arkansas in the west.

Ole Miss is expected to throw sophomore right-hander Bobby Wahl (5-1, 2.09 era.) in the series opener, while LSU is expected to counter with sophomore right-hander (7-1, 3.12 era.).

Game times for the series are 6:30 pm on Friday night, 2 o'clock on Saturday afternoon, and 1:30 pm on Sunday afternoon.
