The LSU Tigers baseball team enter the NCAA Regionals ranked in the top spot of four different college baseball polls.

LSU is ranked number one  by Collegiate Baseball, by USA Today, by Perfect Game and by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association. LSU is also ranked second in this week’s Baseball America rankings.

The Tigers, who are 52-9, and are the number four National Seed in the NCAA Tournament, opens play in the Baton Rouge Regional at 2 p.m. Friday, taking on Jackson St.

LSU won the SEC Western Division title, as well as the  and the SEC Tournament championship, while establishing a school record for most regular-season victories.
