The top-ranked LSU Tiger baseball team is at home for non-conference action on Wednesday, hosting the Lamar Cardinals, at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge.

The Tigers are 30-7 on the year, while the Cardinals come in at 13-21.

Lamar is expected to throw senior right-hander Andrew Beasley (0-0, 3.60 era.), while LSU is expected to counter with sophomore right-hander Joe Broussard (4-0, 3.75 era.)

Lamar leads to all-time series against LSU, with a 5-1 advantage.
