The third-ranked LSU Tiger baseball team won at home in SEC action on Saturday night, coming form behind to defeat the Georgia Bulldogs, 8-4, in the middle game of a three-game conference set at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge.

Trailing 4-2 in the bottom of the eight-inning, the Tigers put up six runs in the inning, highlighted by a grand slam home run by outfielder Mason Katz, who finished the game going 3-for-4, including a double, a homer, two runs, and five RBI's.

The win clinched the series for LSU, who also defeated Georgia on Friday night.

Joey Bourgeois (2-2) got the win out of the bullpen for LSU, while Blake Dieterich (3-3) suffered the loss for the Bulldogs.

With the win, LSU improved to 35-9 overall, and 14-6 in SEC play, while Georgia fell to 24-20 overall, and 8-12 in league play.

The series finale will be on Sunday at 1 o'clock.
