LSU Baseball Defeats Tulane, 5-0
The 11th-ranked LSU Tiger baseball team ran their current win streak to six-consecutive games, by downing the Tulane Green Wave, 5-0, in non-conference action on Tuesday night, in New Orleans.
Third baseman Tyler Hanover led the Tigers at the plate, going 3-for-4, with a couple of runs scored.
Freshman right-hander Aaron Nola (2-0) picked up the win for LSU, pitching eight innings of three-hit, shutout baseball, while striking out six.
Alex Byo (1-2) suffered the loss for the Green Wave.
With the win, LSU improved to 11-2 on the year, while Tulane fell to 10-3.
