The seventh-ranked LSU baseball team captured a non-conference home win on Wednesday, defeating the McNeese St. Cowboys, 11-4, at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge.

The Tigers were led at the plate by shortstop Austin Nola, who went 2-for-4, including a double, a run scored, and three rbi's, while designated hitter Grant Dozar blasted his first homer of the year.

Cody Glenn threw three innings of relief to pick up his first win of the season, while Cowboys starter Ryan Sampere suffered the loss.

With the win, LSU stays perfect on the year, with a 4-0 record, while McNeese St. fell to 1-2.
