LSU Baseball Defeats Alcorn St., 7-2 – Recap

The third-ranked LSU Tiger baseball team captured a non-conference home win on Tuesday night, defeating the Alcorn St. Braves, 7-2, at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge.

Outfielder Mason Katz led the way for the Tigers at the plate, going 2-for-3, with a home run.

Joe Broussard (3-0) picked-up the win for LSU, while Cedric Pomerlee (0-4) suffered the loss for the Braves.

With the win, LSU improved to 26-7 overall, while Alcorn St. dropped to 7-26.
