LSU Baseball Blanks Michigan, 6-0

The 11th-ranked LSU Tiger baseball team notched a non-conference home win on Friday evening, defeating the Michigan Wolverines, 6-0, at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge.

Kevin Gausman (4-0) threw two-hit, shutout baseball over eight innings to pick up the win for the Tigers, while Brandon Sinnery (0-1) suffered the loss for the Wolverines.

With the victory, LSU improved to 12-2, while Michigan fell to 6-7.

The two teams meet again on Saturday, at 6:30 pm.
