LSU adds South Alabama to 2024 Football Schedule

On Wednesday Vice Chancellor and Athletic Director Joe Alleva announced that the LSU Tigers football program has added South Alabama to their 2024 schedule. This is significant because the schools have never played each other in their history.

The two schools will meet for that initial meeting on the playground of Tiger Stadium after school on September 28th.

There was one other time these two programs attempted to play, back in 2016 but that game was pushed to play a previously postponed game between Florida and LSU due to Hurricane Matthew. Lets hope the weather corporates this time around for both of these teams so they can finally do battle on the gridiron.
