Appearing on ESPN 104.5's "Cullota & The Fan" radio show this morning, LSU AD Joe Alleva called a report of Florida's offer to host game in November a "flat out lie".

ESPN reporter Brett McMurphy tweeted the following message yesterday.

"That's a flat out lie," said Alleva. "No one has contacted me. That's a perfect example of terrible journalism. He didn't call me. He didn't call (LSU SID) Michael Bonnette. He didn't call anybody. He just tweets out that garbage. That's an absolute lie. It's another example of someone trying to get clicks on their website, because it's total garbage."

LSU was originally scheduled to play at Florida tomorrow at 11am central time. With Hurricane Matthew hitting Florida, all other college football games have made a decision to play their game, whether it be this weekend or at a later date.

Florida announced Wednesday the game would be played in Gainesville, before announcing yesterday the game was postponed indefinitely.

Alleva also noted the game is "not going to happen at this point", and it will be "very difficult" to make up.
