The LSU Tigers are the #7 national seed in the 66th annual NCAA Division I Baseball Championship.

Coach Paul Mainieri's squad, who is 46-13 on the year, and won the SEC regular season championship will play host to the Baton Rouge, La. Regional, Friday-Sunday, at Alex Box Stadium.

The other teams in the double-elimination regional with top-seeded LSU include the second-seeded Oregon St. Beavers (38-18) out of the Pac-12, the third-seeded Belmont Bruins (39-22) from the Atlantic Sun Conference, and the ULM Warhawks (31-28), who won the 2012 Sun Belt Conference Tournament.

First-round match-ups on Friday have LSU taking on ULM, and Oregon St. facing Belmont.

LSU, Florida, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Mississippi St. are the eight SEC teams in the field of 64, while ULM is the only representative from the Sun Belt Conference.
