At the end of every high school football season, various sports publications from the around the Country rank the best high schools teams around the United States. Louisiana was well represented in this year's polls.

The prep football season is over across the country and the final polls are out.  Five Louisiana teams ended up ranked with: Acadiana, Evangel, Franklinton, St Thomas More and West Monroe.  Acadiana, Evangel and Franklinton all won state championships. 

Prep Nation Poll: Acadiana finishes #24 moving up a spot from #25.  St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, FL) is the #1 team.

Max Prep’s Xcellent 25 Poll:

Acadiana ends up ranked #15 and moved up one spot from #16.  South Panola (Batesville, MS) is the national champion.

ESPN Rise Fab 50 Poll:

West Monroe finishes at #48 and moved up two spot from #50.  Acadiana moved up four spots from #49 and ends up at #45.  St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, FL) finishes at #1.

Rivals High 100 Poll:

Evangel ends up ranked #70 and moved up eight spot from #78.  St. Thomas More finishes at #55 and moved up three spots from #58.  Franklinton ranked out at #35 moving up seven spots from #42.  West Monroe ends up at #20 moving up four spots from #24.  Acadiana finishes at #17 moving up five spots from #22.  South Panola (Batesville, MS) is the #1 team.

USA Today's Super 25 poll didn't rank any Louisiana schools in it's final poll. I'm sure Wreckin' Ram fans are e-mailing the sports editor now. Frankly, I don't blame them.
