Les Miles coached the LSU Tigers to a perfect 13-0 record and a unanimous number 1 ranking in the AP, USA Today, and BCS. He was able to do this amid a preseason bar fight involving his starting quarterback, an NCAA probe, and mid-season one-game suspensions to some of his best players. It goes without saying, but Les Miles did one hell of a job coaching this year. He was recognized today as the AP National Coach of the year.
