The Texas Supreme Court has rejected former Texas Tech head coach Mike Leach's appeal in his wrongful termination suit.

Leach was fired amid allegations he mistreated a former player, Adam James, who was recovering from a concussion.

Leach denied the allegations and sued the school, saying the reason he was fired was because Texas Tech was going to owe him an $800,000 bonus.

The court rejected the appeal without comment.

Leach's next step could be claiming Texas Tech denied him due process.  Leach's attorneys say they will pursue that option.
