Louisiana Ragin’ Cajun senior guard Kia Wilridge continues to climb up the all-time school statistical charts, with still more than one-third of the season remaining.

A native of Crowley, Wilridge, who attended St. Thomas More High School, has been a four-year starter for coach Garry Brodhead’s program.

In terms of points scored, as of Thursday, Wilridge has poured in 1,088 career points, becoming only the 12th player in program history to eclipse the 1,000-point plateau.

In front of Wilridge, who currently ranks 10th on the all-time scoring list, is Yolanda Jones, who scored 1,090 points in a fantastic two-year career.

If Wilridge scored just three points in Thursday night's game against Texas St., which is a safe bet, she would have moved past Jones and into 9th place.

In the assists department, Wilridge currently ranks 6th in school history in assists, with 269, just 13 in back of Cindy Vincent.

Barring injury, Wilridge should finish her career in the top 5 in career assists.

In career steals, with 216, Wilridge currently ranks fourth, six behind teammate Keke Veal, and 35 behind Merritt, who ranks second on the list.
