Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant has always been active on social media.

His twitter account, @KDTrey5, has just under 17 million followers, all of which were surprised when Durant's account began to openly bash his former team, the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Durant was asked by one of his followers to give "one legitimate reason for leaving okc other than getting a championship".

What followed was the follow exchange, screenshot by a twitter user below.

Durant, speaking of himself as "he", tweeted, "he didn't like the organization or playing for Billy Donovan. His roster wasn't that good, it was just him and russ."

But he wasn't done. His next tweet read "imagine taking russ (Westbrook) off that team, see how bad they were. Kd can't win a championship with those cats."

It doesn't take an internet detective to realize, whoever was using Kevin's twitter account (whether it be he or an assistant), forgot to sign-out of Kevin's account and use a fake one.

Either way, it's sobering words for a Thunder fan, and ammo words for any Durant critic who criticizes him for giving himself an easier path to an NBA Championship.
