Kendell Beckwith Earns College Football Senior Of The Week Honors

LSU senior linebacker Kendell Beckwith was recognized for his outstanding play last week, earning "Senior of the week" honors from the Senior Bowl.

In Saturday's 45-10 win over Southern Miss, the Clinton, Louisiana native tallied 15 sacks, including a dozen in the first half.

His 60 tackles lead the Tigers, and ranks second best in the SEC in terms of average tackles per game (10).

LSU (4-2, 2-1) are preparing to host SEC West foe Ole Miss (3-3, 1-2) Saturday night in Tiger Stadium. Kickoff is set for 8:00.
