Louisiana Ragin' Cajun senior guard Keke Veal continues to climb up the all-time school statistical charts, with still plenty of time to do even more.

A native of Opelousas, Veal, who attended St. Thomas More High School, has been a four-year starter for coach Garry Brodhead's program.

In terms of points scored, as of Thursday, Veal has poured in 1,222 career points, which ranks her sixth on the all-time scoring list.

Right in front of her is Anna Petrokova (1,252) and Mercedes Johnson (1,263).

If Veal averages 10.5 ppg over Louisiana's four-game road trip, she will return to Lafayette as the number four scorer in school history.

In the assists department, Veal currently ranks 10th in school history in assists, with 218, just 20 behind Charlotte Green, 27 behind Lisa Merritt, and 43 behind Alicia McDaniel.

Barring injury, Veal should finish her career in the top 7 in career assists.

In career steals, with 210, Veal currently ranks third, one in front of teammate Kia Wilridge, and 41 behind Merritt, who is next on the list.
