Alvin Kamara tied a Saints' record with three rushing touchdowns and Wil Lutz kicked four field goals as the New Orleans Saints won their third straight game, defeating the New York Giants, 33-18 Sunday afternoon at Met Life Stadium.

The Giants got on the board first on a 10-play, 75 yard drive with Eli Manning finding Sterling Shepard for the touchdown.  But the Saints responded with four drives that resulted in field goals by Wil Lutz to take a 12-7 lead into the locker room.  One of the scores was after a Giants' turnover, as the Saints were able to keep the Giants off the board for the remainder of the half.

After forcing a punt to start the second half, the Saints drove 80 yards in seven plays with Alvin Kamara scoring from nine yards out to give the Saints a 19-7 lead.  The Giants responded with a 10 play, 75 yard drive but had to settle for a field goal to cut the lead to 19-10.

After an exchange of punts, the Saints put together a methodical 14 play, 74 yard drive taking up 6:36 in the fourth quarter, with Kamara scoring from four yards out to make the score 26-10.  The Saints, who were just 1-8 on third down prior to the drive, converted on third down four times in the crucial drive.

New York responded with a drive of 75 yards in 12 plays, taking 3:03 off the clock.  The two point conversion to Shepard made it a one score game, 26-18, with 3:44 to play.

After Ted Ginn, Jr. muffed the ensuing kickoff, the Saints started at their own three yard line.  A pass to Josh Hill got the Saints out of the hole and New Orleans got a break on a pass interference call on third down to keep possession.  Kamara then put the game away with his third touchdown of the day with a 49 yard touchdown run to make the score 33-18 with 2:06 left in the game.  The drive covered 97 yards on six plays.

Kamara rushed for 134 yards on 19 carries to lead the Saints.  Drew Brees completed 18-32 passes for 217 yards.  The Giants were able to hold Michael Thomas in check for the most part, with four catches for 47 yards.  Demario Davis led the Saints defense with eleven tackles including two sacks.

Eli Manning completed 31-41 passes for 255 yards.  He was sacked three times.  Shepard caught ten passes for 77 yards while Odell Beckham Jr. caught seven balls for 60 yards.  The Saints held the Giants to 65 yards rushing, with Saquon Barkley gaining just 44 yards on ten carries.
