The Dallas Cowboys signed former Ragin' Cajun Linebacker Justin Anderson this week, which means his NFL journey isn't over.

Anderson spent the beginning of his career with the New York Giants, where he saw some action in the preseason and regular season. Then he headed to Minnesota for a while, until the Vikings parted ways with him back in March. Since then, Anderson's future in the NFL has been up in the air.

Now it's time to pack the bags for Dallas. You never know what can happen in training camp.

Teams always bring in bodies for camp, but some of those "extras" end up making the roster for one reason or another. In the worst case, somebody higher up on the depth chart gets injured. In the best scenario, Anderson could simply impress the staff so much that they keep him on the practice squad or even put him on the full roster.

All football players want are chances to prove themselves. Even practice squad salaries are enough to keep the dream alive financially.

Show some love to Justin Anderson, Cajun Nation. The pro sports life isn't always as easy as it seems, and it looks like his roller coaster is on the rise again.
