Anthony Castrovince, of mlb.com, says Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista has grown into the top hitter in Major League Baseball.

Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista

Prior to 2010, Bautista had never hit above a .254 in a complete Major League season. He also had never homered more than 16 times in a season, or driven in more than 63 runs.

Last year, Bautista broke out, with a .260 batting average, 54 home runs, and 124 RBI's.

This season, Bautista has been even better, with 20 homers, and a batting average well over .300.
