Louisiana Ragin' Cajun senior guard Jonathan Stove eclipsed 1,000 career points on Saturday in a dominant win over Georgia Southern in which he scored 28.

Today, he earned another honor, as he was named the Louisiana Sports Writer's Association Player (LSWA) of the Week.

The senior from Baton Rouge averaged 19 points and 7 rebounds in two games versus Georgia State and Georgia Southern.

His 1,000 points achievement in career scoring made him the 46th player in program history to accomplish the feat.
