Jimmer Fredette Fired Up To Be A New Orleans Pelican
Former NCAA National player of the year Jimmer Fredette is set to join his 3rd team in 3 NBA seasons. Arriving in New Orleans yesterday, he's fired up to be a Pelican.
As a combo guard, Fredette will fight to earn minutes in a crowded Pelicans backcourt. While his scoring prowess at BYU hasn't transitioned entirely to the pros, Fredette still has tremendous range, and will be counted on to help New Orleans stretch the offensive side of the floor.
Fredette agreed to a one-year deal worth the veterans minimum ($1.2 million) last week.
