However, when he credits the New York Jets with a "stunning" victory, then labels them the team "standing alone at the top of the AFC East," you have to wonder if he was paying attention to the game he was calling. After all, it was the New England Patriots who were favored at home, who are stadning alone at the top of the AFC East, and who...um...WON THE GAME.
